I can't take credit for the illos, but my team worked with many different illustrators trying to capture the best representation of the dolls. LOVE the way they turned out!

So fun to finally be able to share this brand with the public! It was conceived by my design team in 2018 and was a long time in the making. Happy to see the stories come to life on YouTube and looking forward to seeing the dolls in store/online. One of the proudest moments of my career! Kudos to my designers and the entertainment team who made this come to life! #Caveclub
This was the FIRST-ever moodboard created to share the vision of this brand to get buy-in to evolve it further. It shows the inception of this concept from pop culture inspiration, trends of texture, color, surprise-elements, a strong tribe of girls, graphic print styles, the importance of pets, character ideation, all with a simple story to build the excitement! And, it worked!
Mood board for the Inventor character. She was designed to be bold, fierce, curious, creative and handy. Think of her as the MacGyver of the group.
Inspiration for the Gardener character, now called Fernessa. She was the one with the longest locks which she used to gather all her favorite things from nature.
Mood board for the Oracle character. She had a celestial air about her, and an ability to see things in the future. She would have visions of things from modern times (like Twitter) and would tell her friends about them, but they never understood her visions (though modern kids would get the allusions).
Vision for the Hunter character. Though she had a rough exterior, this cat was a softy at heart. Raised by a sabertooth, she took on the traits of a toughgirl, but would never harm another animal.
Mood direction for the Artist character. This archetype was originally conceived as a female, with loud, colorful, bold prints. She was to be a little messy, but always made things lovely. Subsequently, she became the one male friend in the group in the final execution.
